Barre I / Barre II / Pointe Prep
Grace you can measure
Ballet is the grammar every dancer benefits from. Our syllabus builds turnout, alignment and line through structured barre work, then carries it into centre adagio, allegro and variations. Saturday classes run with a live pianist; pointe preparation is by coach assessment only.
Structured barre — pliés to grand battements with hands-on correction in small batches.
Centre & allegro — adagio control, petit allegro speed and safe jumping mechanics.
Pointe preparation — strength and assessment pathway for dancers aiming at pointe work.
Repertory variations — one classical variation per term for Barre II and above.

Questions
Can adults start ballet from zero?
Absolutely — most of Barre I started as adults. Progress is steady and the coaching is patient.
Do I need pointe shoes?
Not at first. Flat ballet slippers are enough until your coach clears you for the pointe pathway.
Is there a performance?
Yes — a classical demonstration closes each term, with variations for Barre II dancers.
